See All ReviewsMy wife and I absolutely love coming to Tanya’s Café for breakfast. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a special place. Being a family-owned café, it has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. It’s one of those spots that feels cozy, genuine, and full of heart. Our go-to order is the chilaquiles with chorizo and the chilaquiles with al pastor, and they are always incredible. The flavors are rich, perfectly balanced, and you can tell everything is made with care. The chorizo has the perfect kick, and the al pastor adds such a delicious twist that keeps us coming back. Another highlight is their coffee. It’s honestly top notch smooth, fresh, and the perfect start to the morning. Pairing a great cup of coffee with an amazing breakfast in such a comfortable environment makes the whole experience even better. What we appreciate most is the feeling you get when you’re there. It doesn’t feel like just another café it feels like a place where people genuinely care about their food and their customers. The atmosphere is homey, sweet, and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place you look forward to visiting again and again. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot with amazing food, great coffee, and a cozy family atmosphere, Tanya’s Café is truly a gem. My wife and I will definitely keep coming back.
I can't say enough about how much I love this place. The food is so delicious with excellent breakfast and lunch options. Even the kids meal macaroni and cheese is clearly made with love. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite in all of DFW and the Cafe de Olla is a wonderful warm treat. The staff are always so warm and receptive and we love seeing Tanya there almost every time we've been!! There is no breakfast spot in the area I would recommend higher.
Mannnnn I really wanted to like this place because everyone was nice when we walked in but honestly, it just wasn’t a good experience for me. The food came out cool, and everything just kind of felt off from the start. The table was a little sticky the salt and pepper shakers were sticky too…and the creamers were sticky and dirty. and the whole place just felt a little outdated. The decor didn’t really make much sense to me not that it matters lol who am I to judge??? but it just added to the weird vibe. Our waitress was kind but she rushed us from the moment we sat down like she was ready for us to leave before we even got our food. We didn’t even get a “hey how are you” It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable. ordered the 2x2x2, a croissant 🥐 sandwich two coffees, and two orange juices (which was really Good) the menu had some funny names for the choices but that’s about it and somehow the total came out to around $80, plus tip which honestly shocked me. For that price I expected something a lot better like:..hot food, maybe not a rushed experience ?? I was ready to go before I even finished eating, and that’s not how I want to feel after breakfast.
